IBM Cloud Infrastructure
Our system operates on IBM Cloud, leveraging its extensive global network of data-centers. By deploying in multiple zones, we ensure redundancy and geographical failover capabilities. In the rare event of a regional failure, our multi-zone setup allows traffic to be instantly rerouted, ensuring continued service.
Kubernetes-Orchestrated Architecture
Our platform uses Kubernetes for container orchestration, whichprovides automatic scaling, self-healing, and automated failover. Kubernetes’inherent load balancing and distribution of workloads across different nodesand zones significantly reduce the risk of downtime.
API/Data-stream/SFTP Gateway with Built-In Load Balancing and Separation
Inaddition to REST APIs we support requests/response through data-streams as wellas file servers (i.e. SFTP). Our gateway is designed to facilitate seamlessintegration with our platform, and it operates separately from our internalservices that handle payment processing. This separation allows for enhancedsystem reliability, ensuring that requests are handled efficiently withoutimpacting core payment processes. It also allows foridempotencyandretry-ability, meaning that any failedrequests can be retried without affecting the integrity of transactions, whichfurther enhances our fault tolerance
Kafka for Resilient Data Streaming

Weutilize Apache Kafka to manage our event streaming and data pipelinesinter-connecting our processing instances and microservices. Kafka’sdistributed nature ensures that data remains available and consistent, even incase of node failures. We have configured Kafka with replication acrossmultiple zones to prevent data loss and guarantee high throughput anddurability
Multi-Zone Resilience
By running our services in a multi-zone architecture, we minimize theimpact of any potential downtime in a single zone. We have robust monitoring inplace to detect issues in one zone and instantly reroute traffic to otherzones, ensuring a high degree of uptime.
PostgreSQL High Availability and Redundancy
Our platform leverages PostgreSQL with a highly available and redundantsetup. We use PostgreSQL replication and clustering to ensure data durabilityand availability. With asynchronous and synchronous replication across multiplenodes, our system can handle database failovers seamlessly. In case of aprimary database node failure, the standby nodes are automatically promoted,ensuring no interruption in service and zero data loss. This setup, combinedwith automated backups, ensures data integrity and availability at all times.
Disaster Recovery and Backup
We have a comprehensive disaster recovery plan that includes regular automatedbackups and the ability to restore systems quickly in case of unexpectedevents. Data is stored redundantly across multiple locations, ensuring thatservice is restored swiftly and without data loss.
